- Lil Nas X triumphantly has all gay-related Connotations with his hip-hop career by introducing “Industry Baby” in the declining hours of Thursday (July 22).
The record serves as a continuation of the failure of “Shoes of Satan” and as the second single released for his forthcoming debut album, Montero. Musically, the energetic number puts the rapper from “Old Town Road” at the center of Auto-Tuned, laden with a maze of rhythm horns (actually released) in Kanye West.
Directed by Christian Breslauer, Industry Baby’s official music video is set on Monday (July 19) by the tribunal in which Lil Nas X was convicted – and allegedly convicted – of homosexuality. Set in a maximum-security prison, full-length video live content is nothing short of bright detail. As you can see from the YouTube screenshot, the film challenges the non-existent limits of the sex trade rather than opting to use male strippers exclusively to promote free nudity.
There’s also an unpolished prison cell, apart from its glittering Grammy and platinum badges, a nod to the classic Shawshank Redemption, an electric in the electric chair, and more milkshakes for the backyard boys. Jack Harlow – whose character is a balance of heterosexuality throughout the prison madness – took to Twitter as the video dominated social media and conversations on YouTube explaining how proud he was to have “Industrial Babies” engraved on his feed.
Of course, she liked Jack Harlow.
“[Lil Nas X] wrote this entire maintenance video, and I’m following him every step of the way,” wrote rapper Tyler Herro. “If he asked me to be in that shower scene, I would be in that shower scene. I just let my brain boil. It was an honor to the part with him.
Then he teases his newfound co-worker with a semi-red, black, and white photo from the video. But Trollmaster Tero was about to laugh one last time when he found the most animated tweet, “Jack Harlow is in a gay video,” and showed it to his six million followers on Twitter.
