- Big Boi lights (real name Antwan Andre Patton) became a grandpa for the first time earlier this year. On Sunday (July 11).
- The Dungeon Family legend shared a photo of their new grandson on Instagram.
He wrote on the inscription: “Antwan III … Mini. #Pattonboys cc @bamboopatton. #Papisan.” The child belonged to Big Boy’s son Bamboo Patton (Antwan Andre Patton II) and was born in March, making him about four months old. Big Boy always announces how proud he is of his three children.
In May 2018, Bamboo graduated with honors from Woodward Academy in Atlanta and promoted his father and Outkast partner Andre 3000 to early reunification. Jordan Patton’s daughter graduated from college in 2019, while son Cross was a successful college football player with the Oregon Ducks. Meanwhile, Miss Sherlita from Big Boy graduated from Clark University in Atlanta and is a successful real estate agent.
They married in 2002 but have been together for almost three decades. It’s hard to believe that Big Boy could be a grandfather. At 46, he is still relatively young and still in his prime. “It’s there, but we’ve worn it all over the world. We talked about cooking medicine in front of 80,000 people. When we started having festivals, there wasn’t much hip-hop.
There’s more hip-hop crossover. -hop artists, but we set a trap for these people, and it opens up possibilities for the next generation to do so.” The hip-hop legend will perform with the Wu-Tang Clan and Colorado Symphony at the Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, on August 13.
Called the Wu-Tang Clan Experience, the concert will open the symphony and reenact some of Wu-Tang’s biggest hits as the band raps. Red Rocks recently increased its capacity to 6,300 fans and opened its total capacity on June 21. Tickets for the Wu-Tang Clan Show are now available through AXS.com.
