- Big Red Machine’s new song “Renegade,” starring Taylor Swift, leads the new music poll this week.
Music fans voted in a poll released on Billboard on Friday (July 2). The upbeat collaboration between indie-folk duo Aaron Dessner of The National and Justin Vernon of Bon Iver and pop superstars as their favorite re-release of last week was voted.
“Renegade,” which will be featured on Big Red Machine’s upcoming album, garnered nearly 72% of the votes and suggested new music from jxdn (Tell Me About Tomorrow), Doja Cat (Planet Her – Deluxe), Imagine Dragons (“Wrecked”). ) and others.
This is not the first time the three have teamed up. Other than that, Perry was just a compliment to his fiancé. “He has done this before; he has a ten-year-old son – no matter how much I go, ‘I don’t need to hear all these stories,’ they help,” he said. “[It’s] like, ‘Oh, you do this, you know how to do it.’ “
Designer co-wrote and produced most of Swift’s 2020 folk and Evermore albums, and Vernon was involved, co-writing “Exile” and Evermore’s theme song.
This time, Swift accompanied Big Red Machine for one of three songs recently taken off the band’s second full-length album, How Long Do You Think It Gonna Last? This kit will be released on August 27 via Jagjaguwar/37d03d.
Second place in last week’s results, with nearly 10% of the votes, went to jade’s debut album, Tell Me About Tomorrow. Produced by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, the new set from the former TikTok phenom delivers the awe, dread, and cheery mockery charisma of jade’s early hits.
Elsewhere, songs like “One Minute” bring to mind Blink-182’s sweet spotlight from mid-time, and “Wanna Be” cleverly pits Machine Gun Kelly. Beneath are the irrevocable poll results for this week’s new music edition.
